use of Bardolph’s Hall for our wedding on Saturday.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and really
raved about the venue and setting, you have
a wonderful place there.
Thanks also for your accommodating style. Whist
looking for a venue for our wedding we came
across a myriad of places that were prescriptive
and restrictive in what you could and couldn’t
do, your relaxed approach made for a stress
free and totally enjoyable experience.

most fantastic day and it provided such a great
backdrop to it all. Most of all thanks for letting
us shape the day exactly as we wanted, and thanks

for all your help in making our wedding day so
amazing! Your relaxed and open manner was invaluable
in helping us plan the day and a particular big
thank you to you Val for all your help on the
actual wedding weekend and lead up. We could not
have hoped for a more perfect venue, the grounds
looked so beautiful in full bloom and the hall
itself was stunning, perfectly fitting our long
table plan and ceilidh.

Hope all is well. We are now back from our honeymoon
and just wanted
to say what a fantastic time we had from Thursday
through to Sunday at
Birling Manor last weekend. The venue was/is amazing
and we had

A belated note to thank you for contributing so
much to the success of Alice and Dan’s wedding
on the 16th October.
One could not image a location as perfect as Birling.
A flint complex and surrounding greensward imparting
not only beauty but a sense of tradition and continuity.
And Bardolph Hall offered all the dignity one
could wish for to support a wedding ceremony.
Thank you for your detailed attention to ensuing
that the venue was so well prepared for the wedding;
and above all for the very reasonable terms upon
which you made the venue available to Alice and
Dan.
Our personal enjoyment of the week-end was completed
by our stay at the Tiger Inn – many thanks to
your son and staff – excellent food, accommodation
and service.

We are the Mother & Father of Natalie, Married
at your delightful venue on Saturday 7th May.
We have just arrived back from a short break following
the proceedings of that day and thought we would
drop you a line. We were so pleased to have had
our Daughters wedding is such fantastic surroundings.
The freedom afforded by you to place our own personal
stamp on big day made for a wedding that surpassed

Dear
Jimmy
Rosa and I wanted to write to thank you for the
use of your hall and beautiful gardens for our
wedding on the 4the June. The place was absolutely
perfect for us, and we really appreciated being
able to use the Thursday and Friday beforehand
to get everything installed and set up rather
than having to do it all in a mad rush the day
before. In the end, setting up the bar in the
little kitchen area was definitely the right decision,
as we had completely underestimated how full the
hall would be once 140 guests were on the dance
floor!
The whole weekend went so smoothly, and we had
such fun that we felt really sorry when it was
all over. The Keg of Legless Rambler went down
a treat (although left a few sore heads the next
day!). And my parents loved staying in the Beachy
Head Cottages in East Dean and eating at the Tiger.
You truly are blessed to be able to live in such
a beautiful part of the world, thank you for sharing
it with us and allowing us to use it for the Wedding
reception.
