Bardolphs Hall was originally
the very centre of the life of the mediaeval Lords and
they literally lived with their people, they dined on
the dais, with their retainers, at a long table down
the centre of the hall. It was converted for my father's
21st Birthday party in 1926.
Today it has full oil fired central heating, a sprung
dance floor, several oil paintings of the family, and
is panelled with a wealth of timber and reeked in history.
On the South side is a court yard
with a swimming pool and a vine covered pergola which
makes for an excellent area for receptions.
There is an upstairs and a downstairs
cloakroom and a kitchen area suitable for preparing
food and drinks.
